If you look at the video of the show, you also realize the fun that all participants have while being part of this show. Maybe it's just all in the eye (ear) of the beholder, or maybe I've just watched too many Tina S videos.

Adding Cooper‘s “School’s Out” running into “Another Brick In The Wall,” which he has done on his solo tours, is a fun way to drive the last few songs. Who else but Alice could bring together one of Hollywood‘s biggest actors, legendary guitarist Joe Perry, and the bass player and drummer from Guns N’ Roses all together to play a bunch of covers (and an original opening song) to celebrate the past musicians and actors who died too soon due to their lifestyle? Rock supergroup Hollywood Vampires are immortalising their biggest ever concert with their new live album ‘Live in Rio. Cooper is an experienced enough vocalist to know just how much of his own DNA he can sprinkle through a song without negating its authenticity, and he once again finds that balance with perfection here.Guest guitar player Andreas Kisser shows that one can’t have too many guitar players cranking to level 20 on the sound levels. The three legends first came together to record in 2015, bonding over a shared love of their favorite songs and a desire to celebrate their 'dead, drunk friends' by playing the music of the fallen heroes. I was never a huge Aerosmith fan, but always respected Perry‘s playing, and it’s probably safe to say that being the rock guitar hero he is, he wouldn’t be doing this with an actor if Depp couldn’t hold his own. They are joined on stage by Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses), Matt Sorum (Velvet Revolver) and Bruce Witkin (Grammy-nominated producer).

If Cooper doesn’t nail this next track then the band should get off-stage because that song is one of his own, School’s Out. Special guests include Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), Andreas Kisser (Sepultura), and Zak Starkey (The Who / Oasis). After this success and the media interest in the ultimate rock group, sold-out concerts, and tours all over the world followed, and in 2019, finally, the second album "Rise".You've got three alpha males who are used to running the show, and all of a sudden, three guys are sitting there with zero arguments. Rock in Rio' is not only one of the most famous festivals, but also the origin of the Hollywood Vampires' first live album.

My instinct might be to say that this part goes too long or the intro goes too long, but that's what makes it interesting. The accompanying music video shows the sheer magnitude of this concert and the reactions that this song still evokes in people — even 55 years after it was written. He is not just another actor who wants to be a rock star; he fits the part, and being on the stage having to be on a certain level like Perry and the others, is a credit to his talent. Over 50,000 physical units sold, millions of streams, and worldwide cover stories in major magazines later, fans, press and the band were ready to bring these songs to the stage. Jeepster from T-Rex takes centre stage, with Cooper rising to the occasion once more as he changes his vocal pitch to emulate the style employed by Marc Bolan while still retaining his own vocal richness. Not only does the group have a high-level musician quality to it, but watching the show, you can see that the members are having fun being there. I love Brian Johnson but the version of "Whole Lotta Love" he did on the first Vampires album was terrible; the Alice/Lzzy version works much better.
