All about the Best of The Best Round

NOMINATIONS  - These are chosen from all category and fandom winners from the last six normal rounds.  We also have a select few 'Wild Cards' which are chosen by the judges  from RU's, Judge's Choices and Special Awards of Merit.   To see the nominations click the link above.  If you have any difficulty downloading the vids please leave a message on the tag board.   If you wish to remove any of your entries please contact the judges.

JUDGING - All categories will be judged by us and have a 'viewers choice' poll.  UPDATE POLLS CLOSED !!!  There will be winners and RU awards in each category.  As soon as voting is open we will post an update. Please feel free to use the Banners below to promote this round on your site, L J or forums. 

PRIZES -  For the winner of Best Video and Best Editing (if different) they will be offered a prizes from the following selection :

 ~ an original A4 pencil sketch of a fandom character of their choice by Andrea

~ 1000-5000 word fic from a prompt provided by the winner for any of the fandoms we current accept nominations from (no pairings though and no Alias or BSG as not fully familiar). By Shona

~ graphics  - a complete LJ or site layout, wallpapers, icons, banners for their vids - again for any of the fandoms we take nominations from. By Shona

We will of course have to agree timescales, fandoms and any other details after the awards are posted.

Category winners will be offered one from the following:

~ 20 Icons of a fandom/character of their choice some animated.  by Andrea

~ Up to 5 vid banners  by Andrea & Shona

REVIEWS - All Winners and RU's  will also be emailed a review if not already reviewed in a previous round. 

DURATION - We expect this round to run up to the beginning of September, giving plenty of time for voting and judging.  When this finishes we will be making major changes to rules, categories and judging  and hopefully expanding the fandom line up too.
