Halloween 2004 Event

David Boreanaz and James Marsters  joint Q&A appearance at Halloween 2004 London

For more pictures see link to the left in Navigation.

How easy was it to work with puppet Angel ?   David said it was easy for him, say the lines rehearse and then go home. For James he said it was difficult everyone was having a hard time to keep a straight face - puppet kept saying  "you're in my light".

What would have been their reaction to an Angel/Spike body swap episode.  David seemed to really like this question and wished that they had done that.  James on the other hand said he could not do impersonations and would have to watch David rehearse the scene then copy it.

When asked about joint ventures outside of the 'jossverse'  both were interested for the right script and right project. James went on to say that David was one of about 10 actors who could pick up on James improvisation during a scene and then add to it himself, being able to read one another well. Also that David was one of the best directors they had and that the cast appealed for David to direct another Angel episode near the end of the season but David demurred, too hard acting and directing at the same time.

What was their favourite food?    David was impressed by the curry he had had that lunchtime although a little overcome by all the spiciness brewing inside and said he was having trouble concentrating, and then he added Hagen Daz to that too.  James likes proscuitto and melon to which David quickly replies 'hmmm salty goodness'  (a special moment for me as I love this jossverse quote).
