Water filtration is one of those things on the trail which takes time and effort and it has to be done hygienically. The Cnoc Vecto water bladder offers a simple solution which is easy to use, easy to clean, easy to fill and is convenient and fast. The Vecto is a soft, 2 liters (68 oz), collapsible water container. The dual opening system allows for easy filling from a wide opening on one side and a narrow mouthpiece on the other. Use the Vecto for drinking or as part of a water filtration system with particular Sawyer and HydroBlu filters. It’d be nice if the orange cap was secured to the bottle like it is on Evernew’s soft water bottles or the slide was attached to the bottle like it is on the Platypus Big Zip. But neither of these omissions is a show stopper if you’re careful about where you place these two components when you take them off the Vecto water container. The Vecto doesn't need much maintenance (it has very few moving parts for simplicity), it can be frozen and thawed, strapped on the bag and even used as a pillow or a lantern. One thing you should notuse it as is a hot water bottle - any water hotter than 120°F (49°C) will degrade or damage the material. The exception is the VectoX, which can handle temperatures up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit - be careful though, the bag will be hot with hot water in it!

The thread on the filter is part of the system that may break over time, but if needed, the filter is sold separately. If the bag is damaged, I am not sure if they sell dirty water bags separate from the filter, but the filter is compatible with other water containers.

That’s not the case for these. The CNOC Outdoors bags are available in 1L, 2L, or 3L sizes, and with the filtration speed and bag sizes, this can be a functional filtering system for groups if you’re willing to filter water a few times. The bags in the image below are 2L bags (2.8 oz), and all of the bags attach to any filter with a 28 mm thread (Sawyer Squeeze and Mini and the LifeStraw Flex). The bags have a breaking point of 220 lbs but still have the potential to be punctured or damaged.
