Guest Talks

Richard spoke about how much he enjoyed working with Nathan & Tim Minear  again,  despite Drive being cancelled.  His character on Firefly,  Jubal Early, was to be a recurring guest  and he regretted not having the opportunity to return to the role, plus he loved the costume but was unable to keep it. When asked what he thought happened after  Mal had pushed Jubal off the ship, he thought that there would be a homing beacon on Jubal suit and the ship would run under autopilot to where he was in space.  He also described how Joss directed him  through an whole gamut of  emotions  which were then edited for the scene where Jubal is clearly disturbed by River, Richard was also  that Jubal himself believed he was not evil but a good man.   He also spoke about another of his shows  'Good v Evil' and said that they used one of his songs at the end of an episode and all things going well he would sing for us that night at the party. He did indeed sing and had the most amazing voice,  a multitalented man.
