TV fandom music videos.
We accept nominations for
our normal rounds in the following
fandoms:
Alias, Battlestar Galactica,
Bones, Chuck, Dark Angel, Deadwood,
Drive, Dr. Who, Due South, Heroes
House, Lost, Pushing Daisies,
Sarah Connor Chronicles
SG-1,
SGA, Sopranos, Supernatural, Torchwood,
Tru Calling,,
Veronica Mars, Whedonverse (including Serenity) Wonderfalls
and the X-Files. We hope to
include more fandoms
in the near future and will hold separate contests
for Movies and themes.
After six rounds, there
will be a 'Best Of' round and the outright winners will be
awarded unique prizes.

UPDATES
8.05.08 - Normal Round 10 is open for
submissions. I won't put up nominations until I
have a new layout & reviews done. This will take a couple
of days but you can still send in your entries in the meantime.
Don't forget to read the rules.
1.05.08 Special Theme Round Is now closed! It will
probably take a couple of weeks for judging and award making.
Normal Round 10 will open on Tuesday
6th May and I will be back just after that with
a new layout, the extremely late reviews for Rd 9 and any
other updates. Also a new fandom has been added to the list -
Sarah Connor Chronicles.
30.04.08 - Another special theme entry added - Thanks
Dragonchic! Round closes tomorrow 1.5.08.
24.04.08 Another theme entry added - Thanks to Obsessive24.
Just a week to get them in! When this closes I will
announce the start date of the next normal round.
18.04.08 One more entry added to the theme Round, thanks to
Victoria - This round closes end of the month and we would
love more entries please!
3.04.08 The first few nominations for our Special Theme Round
are posted. Thanks to those vidders who have submitted. We
would love more :)
1.04.08 Phew - Awards posted!
Last minute deliberations but they are done.
Congratulations to the winners and well done to everyone who
took part this round, making it extremely difficult for the
judges. Reviews will appear some time very soon. We
have a few nominations for the Special Theme Round to post too
but would love to get some more. The next normal
round will not open until we have closed the nominations for the
Special Theme - a new layout will hopefully appear and we may
update the fandom list too.
31.03.08 The top two awards are left to make - can't see them
being done by tonight - I'm old and beauty sleep is needed. Come
back tomorrow and they should all be up then :)
30.03.08 Award Making is in progress. Hopefully posted
late tomorrow night and reviews a little later. Also we
would love some Theme Nominations!
25.3.08 We're kind of in the final phase of judging right now,
it's not right to rush it with so many excellent nominations in
this round. So whilst you're all out there twiddling your
thumbs I thought I would start another Special Theme Round,
we've not had one of those since 'forever' ?. Anything animated
(non live) tv or movies. For more information click the banner
below.
17.03.08 Yes - It's taken us all this time just to do the first
cuts this round. Did we mention difficult? Anyhow hoping
to still get done by the end of the Month. Details of the next
special round will be announced Easter Time.
02.03.08 Round 9 is now closed with 45 nominations. We've
started on the first phase of judging and our initial
impressions are that it's going to be another truly excellent
round. With that in mind we aren't going to be able to get
awards out much before the end of March. Will keep you all
posted on our progress though and our next round will be another
special theme one - it's been a while since we had one of those.
26.02.08 More nominations added. Don't forget we close Saturday
1st March Midnight GMT.
19.02.08 Five more nominations added. Please remember this
rounds 'rule' phrase, and don't forget when linking back, to

11.02.08 More nominees added. We're up to 34 now which is great,
thank you.
7.02.08 Nominees are updated. Again thanks everyone, including
those new vidders entering for the first time, looks like
another great round in making. Closing Date for this round
will be 1st March.
3.02.08 Sorry for the ridiculously long wait but reviews for the
Best Video, RU & Judges choice are now up
here. The first batch of
nominations are posted too, thanks for all those submissions!

1.02.08 Round Nine is open!. Check the rules, you'll see
why and then send in those nominations. This round's Banner is
Firefly meets Deadwood so you get Firewood or
Deadfly take your pick. I am a slacker with the reviews -
they will be posted before the first batch of nominations,

4.1.08 - Winners are announced!
So we get to the end of another wonderful round at the Art of
Vidding Awards. We've been going now for a year and the
quality of nominations has improved with every round. Thank you
to all who have regularly submitted your work
throughout the year - I really appreciate your support of this
Award site, and welcome to all the new vidders in these last few
rounds. A tightly matched contest this time so there are a few
joint awards, shared amongst sixteen vids. I will not be
opening the next round until 1st February as I
have some vid bunnies of my own that need taking round the back
to be shot, and I may get the chance to do some other fandom
things too . Of course, if I get twitchy and decide to open
earlier, you will all be the first to hear about it.
Please don't send in submissions, they'll be
deleted. Reviews will be up in a couple of days (or
sooner).
1.1.08 Happy New Year everyone!
Well, you made judging
tough for me again, some superb, entertaining vids in this round
so there will be joint placings in some categories. I am
now working on awards so allow a few days as I'd like them to be
real 'purty'.
30.12.07 Well I think we can safely say the end of the year
was overly optimistic.... The first phase of judging is done
though, so please don't despair. Real life was a lot busier than
I expected so it has pushed things out a little. First
week of January I hope for the awards. I'll keep you all
informed. Happy New Year to you all! (I'll get back to it
right away)
15.12.07 Final nomination has been added and the round
is now closed for judging. I hope to have awards
posted before the end of the year, I will of course keep you all
updated. Please, no submissions until I announce the next round.

14.11.07 - New layout up and nominations updated.
It's
rather bright and cheery and I will do some more codes for the
new fandoms soon.
13.11.07 The Reviews for the
Best Video, Video RU & Judges Choices are up.
Sorry it
took so long. I have also added some more nominations. It's
shaping up to be another corker of a round. New layout is
in progress (well I am thinking about what to do....) so you'll
see that sooner rather than later I would hope.

What an
astonishing round, are we still judging the 'best of'? It
certainly felt like it. If you didn't win an award this
time please don't be discouraged, the competition was very
fierce - some categories unbelievably so, as a result
there are joint placings again. Reviews should be up
very soon. The new round is now open and you will see I
have added a few more shows to the Fandom list. Any
submissions made before the round opened have been zapped so
you'll need to read the rules &
resubmit!
